We’re Claire, Dan and our two boys — a UK family exploring coastlines, mountains and open water in our VW California campervan.
We’re not full-time vanlifers; instead, we make the most of weekends and school holidays to chase adventure, surf and swim our way around the UK and Europe. With a background in open-water swimming, surfing and real family travel, we share honest itineraries, practical vanlife tips, and water-led adventures designed for real life, not perfect Instagram moments.
Claire is a Level 2 SEQ Swim Teacher and Chill Swim Triple Crown marathon swimmer, while Dan’s love of surfing shapes many of our coastal routes. Everything we share comes from real experience — routes tested with kids, wetsuits, surfboards and all.
